City as Stage, City as Process Lecture Series: ANGUS BOULTON

November 9, 2009 7:00pm-9:00pm Add to my calendar

The City as Stage, the City as Process is a cross-disciplinary lecture series that brings together speakers from art, architecture, urbanism and related research fields to discuss such questions as: In what way is the city not a fixed entity, but a process? How do artists reclaim the streets, activating the city as backdrop, claim public space? What makes a city a city? Whose city? How has new media become a way to intervene in the city and to navigate the city?
