Presentation will feature excerpts from upcoming performances by Boston Lyric Opera, Elaine Chew and Alexandre Fran?ois' MuSA.RT system for tonal analysis and visualization, and a conversation between music scientist, Elaine Chew, and BLO artist Meredith Hansen, soprano, about the role of tonal expectation and emotion in the interpretation of opera.
